- A log of your session is taken at the start of each lesson, which is then linked to the online service for attendance and future development gradings etc
- Like all martial arts Judo does carry risks of accidents such as sprains and strains which are less common because we take every reasonable care and ensure a correct warm-up is carried out before each session.
- No jewellery or sharp objects such as earrings, necklace or hairgrips must be worn, as this is being dangerous to both you and your partner. Fingernails are checked before each session and must be kept short and clean, to avoid painful scratches. General personal cleanliness and wearing clean Judo suits is vital.
- We reserve the right to refuse to teach any individual or spectator or club member and if necessary ban that person from the Club whose behaviour is intolerable on a permanent basis.
- Etiquette is part of the tradition of Judo and as such forms an essential part of our practice. it is used by the Club Instructors to create a safe environment in which to teach judo. Clear instructions that everyone can hear and understand are vital for safety, we also ask visitors and spectators to respect this and Keep noise to a minimum by not interfere with any of the coaching during your session
